Chocolate and Hazelnut Meringue Nests
Chocolate and hazelnut are a winning flavour combination; try our Lindt Master Chocolatiers’ no-bake dessert recipe for an indulgent chocolate twist on the much-loved meringue.
If you prefer, substitute the Frangelico for Amaretto. You could also top with 6 individual squares of our EXCELLENCE Roasted Hazelnut Chocolate instead of our 70% Cocoa Dark. - 4 tbsp icing sugar
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 250 ml double cream
- 2 tbsp Frangelico liqueur (see Tip)
- 65 g hazelnuts, roasted and finely chopped
- 200 g Lindt EXCELLENCE 70% Chocolate, chopped
- To serve:
- 100 g Lindt EXCELLENCE 70% Chocolate (see Tip)
- 6 ready-made meringue nests
- 40 g hazelnuts, roasted and finely chopped
