Chocolate Orange Pudding
A rich chocolate and zesty orange pudding with a hidden creamy custard base… utterly irresistible served with vanilla ice cream.
For added orange flavour, chop 60 g of our EXCELLENCE Orange Intense Dark Chocolate, instead of our EXCELLENCE 70% Cocoa Dark Chocolate, and stir into the batter just before baking.
- 75 g unsalted butter, melted
- 45 g self-raising flour
- 190 ml fresh orange juice
- Zest of 1 orange
- 90 ml double cream
- 80 g golden caster sugar
- 2 large eggs, separated
- 160 g Lindt EXCELLENCE 70% Cocoa Dark Chocolate, melted
- 60 g Lindt EXCELLENCE 70% Cocoa Dark Chocolate, chopped (see Tip)
- To serve:
- Lindt EXCELLENCE 70% Cocoa Dark Chocolate, melted
- Curls of orange peel and fresh orange slices
- Scoops of good quality vanilla ice cream
