Indulgent Chocolate Milkshake
Take this cooling classic to the next level with our decadent EXCELLENCE 70% cocoa dark chocolate. The perfect treat for a sunny summer day.
When in season, plump and juicy cherries add a wonderful burst of flavour to these decadent milkshakes. Swap for blueberries, strawberries, blackberries or raspberries depending on what is in season when you make these. You could also add a sprinkling of toasted nuts (chopped hazelnuts and almonds work well) for a bit of a crunch. - For the chocolate sauce:
- 150 ml double cream
- 200 g Lindt EXCELLENCE 70% Cocoa Dark Chocolate, finely chopped
- 25 g butter
- For the milkshake:
- 1 L milk
- 8 scoops of good quality chocolate ice cream
- To decorate:
- Whipped cream
- Fresh cherries (see Tip)
