No Churn Chocolate and Hazelnut Ice Cream

No ice cream machine? No problem! Discover our Master Chocolatiers’ favourite simple ice cream recipe using our indulgent Hazelnut Chocolate Spread. Enjoy scooped atop a cone, or spooned into a bowl, drizzled with our fuss-free Hazelnut Chocolate Cremosa.

Chocolatier’s Tip

You can get creative and swap the roasted hazelnuts for almonds or chopped chocolate, if wished - or why not try adding swirls of our Lindt Dark Chocolate Spread for a more intense chocolate flavour?

Makes 1 large tub



  • 500 ml double cream
  • 1 x 397 g can full-fat condensed milk
  • 200 g Lindt Hazelnut Chocolate Spread
  • 100 g chopped roasted hazelnuts
  • To swirl:
  • About 100 g Lindt Hazelnut Chocolate Spread
  • To serve:
  • Lindt Hazelnut Chocolate Cremosa
  • Chopped roasted hazelnuts


Step 1.

Set aside a 900 ml / 2 lb loaf tin or deep 16 cm / 6-inch square glass container - it needs to hold at least 1 L.

Step 2.

Pour the cream into a large bowl and, using a hand mixer or electric whisk, whisk until you have stiff peaks.

Step 3.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the condensed milk and 200 g Lindt Hazelnut Chocolate Spread until smooth and well combined.

Step 4.

Pour the chocolate-hazelnut mixture into the whipped cream and whisk to combine.

Step 5.

Set aside 2 tbsp of roasted hazelnuts in a small bowl. Fold the remaining hazelnuts through the cream mixture.

Step 6.

Pour half of the mixture into the tin. Randomly add 5 spoonfuls of Lindt Hazelnut Chocolate Spread and swirl through using a knife. Spoon over the remaining cream mixture before adding 4-5 more spoonfuls of Lindt Hazelnut Chocolate Spread and swirling as before. Sprinkle with the reserved nuts.

Step 7.

Cover with cling film, beeswax wrap or a lid (if available). Freeze for at least 6 hours.

Step 8.

Remove from the freezer 5 minutes before serving (no longer as it will melt quickly). Serve scoops drizzled with Lindt Hazelnut Chocolate Cremosa and sprinkled with chopped roasted hazelnuts, if wished.
