Quick and Easy Gingerbread House

  • 1 x gingerbread house kit with royal icing (see Tip)
  • 200 g Lindt EXCELLENCE White Chocolate with a Touch of Vanilla, chopped
  • Lindt Christmas Chocolate Mini Gold TEDDIES (see Tip)
  • Silver sugar balls
  • Edible glitter


Step 1.

Assemble the gingerbread house according to packet directions with the royal icing. Leave to set on a flat plate or board.

Step 2.

Put the chopped chocolate in a heat-proof bowl set over a saucepan of barely simmering water. Stir until melted and smooth. Remove from the heat and leave to cool until thick enough to pipe.

Step 3.

In batches, spoon into a small piping bag fitted with a small nozzle (alternatively, if using single-use sealed piping bags, snip a little off the end).

Step 4.

Pipe lace-like designs all over the roof. Pipe the doors and windows on the sides of the house. Top with edible silver sugar balls and dust with edible glitter.

Step 5.

Arrange a couple of Lindt Gold TEDDIES around the entrance (see Tip). Leave to stand until completely set.
